Shiva Lingam.
Shiva Lingam is formed from Chalcedony (which comprises the body of the stone) with red/brown inclusions of iron oxide and goethite. The Hindus believe the lingam originally fell out of the heavens from the gods. They come from the Narmada River in Central India. One of the oldest religious symbols of civilization, they are highly sought after for enhancing fertility. The body of the lingam represents male energy (knowledge) and the red/brown colouring is the female energy (wisdom). Altogether creating a harmony of male/female energies. The egg shape stands for life and continuity. It also helps to balance and realign the chakras. Works as a grounding and centring tool as well. It is also known as the Cosmic Egg.
