Pyrite Cluster. Approx 2 cm. Also referred to as Pyrite Nodules.
The name Pyrite means “fire stone” as it forms sparks when struck and even in the Stone Age it was used to start fires. It was worked into amulets as a magical stone and was used in healing as a “warming” stone. It encourages self-realization, confronting us with our own characters – both good and bad. Helps to uncover secrets and hidden memories. Great grounding stone which counteracts the negative impact of depression. Stone of clarity and honesty. Helps clarify the causes of certain illness, helping in diagnosis.
